Handmade Soap
and herbal body care

What is CHUNK?

CHUNK is my concept of handmade soap using natural, quality, skin loving ingredients, paired with fun and whimsical scent combinations, and visually interesting textures.
My soaps are mostly vegan friendly, but I do enjoy making soap using locally sourced raw honey and organic milks as well as other water alternatives such as coffee, teas, beer, and wine.
I use serious ingredients like raw organic shea butter and organic fair trade cocoa butter, but play with silly names and themes to keep everything fun and light hearted.

Every soap is made by me in small batches. I cut every bar by hand and don't bother with beveling or planing soap. That only creates waste and less soap for you. I like it rough, rugged, and natural.

My name is Elizabeth a.k.a Lazy Bone. I have been making soap since 2008. I love coffee, Star Trek, zombies, gaming, making all kinds of stuff with my hands, and I am studying to be an herbalist.
My soap is made in small batches using special recipes created by myself after years of trial and error. I use only quality ingredients from reputable sources. Many of my ingredients are organic or raw and unrefined.
I use quality fragrance oils that are skin safe. They are phthalate and formaldehyde free and contain no BPA (Bisphenol A). I also work with skin safe essential oils for my herbal and medicinal products.
I am an herbalist student with the International School of Herbal Arts and Science. I have completed my Intro and Intermediate course and strive to continue my studies into the advanced lessons and follow-up with an internship under an established Herbalist.
I like to incorporate plants and herbs into my soap and skin care line to create soothing and healing products. I am also an advocate of preventative wellness using food, exercise, and plants to create and maintain balance.
